Our Ministries

Celebrate Recovery

Join us Saturdays at 6:30 for Celebrate Recovery.

CR is a program that helps with life's hurt, hang ups and habits. There is a free meal every week, testimonies, studies in promoting healthy choices and lifestyle, and prayer.

This program is approved for people on parole, but everyone is welcome to a place that is judgment free and filled with healthy, happy people waiting to help

Youth Ministry

The youth program is centered around 6th to 12th grade. We are very interactive in helping teens grow in their walk with Christ. Our focus for youth centers around the prodigal son story and the parable of the leaving the 99 for the 1. Teaching youth discipleship, prayer, and repentance as being their cornerstones for an amazing relationship with Christ. Instilling Christian values and helping them learn what God's grace is ensures teens have a fulfilling relationship with Him. Youth ministry is focused on the story of the prodigal son because rather they are the son who stays and serves faithfully or the one who returns later. We welcome them with open arms and love. We are teaching who Jesus really is and how he can change lives drastically and beautifully.

Our youth group is very active with helping within the community, camps, Christian based trips, and a lot of fun. Showing that being a Christian is fun and fulfilling!

Children’s Ministry

The children’s program at our church offers a safe, welcoming environment where children grow in faith and learn about God’s love.

Through age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, prayer, service opportunities, and engaging activities, children are encouraged to experience God’s grace, build strong Christian values, and form meaningful friendships.

Our program partners with families to nurture spiritual growth and help children learn how to live out their faith through love, compassion, and service.

Grief Support

Grief happens when we least expect it. Grief happens to everyone. Grief often lasts much longer than we thought it would.

We have a very compassionate group of people that will help lead you through that process. Diana is our leader. She lost her husband and is working through grief as she helps you. This is not a study of easy answers to hard problems.

This is a conversation that will guide you through the darkness of grief.

Men's Ministry

Men's Ministry is group of guys that fellowship and engage in devotions and spiritual growth. More than that, they serve their church and community through building wheelchair ramps, making repairs and helping in emergencies.

They also serve meals at Thanksgiving and the 4th of July.

They meet the first Saturday of every month at 9:00 a.m.

You will be glad you joined them.

The Methodist Women’s Group

Our Methodist Women’s group has been active since the 1950’s. We have a Bazaar each fall to help raise money for our projects. We provide scholarships to seniors to equip them with their secondary education.   This past year we financially supported our Youth that went to summer camp.  Helping Ore City ISD with the items needed for their teachers and students is a part of our community focus. Ore City has an established food pantry that we monetarily support along with some of us providing our personal time to stock shelves and grocery bags for clients. We meet on the first Thursday night of each month at 6:30 p.m. in our Fellowship Hall. We have a fantastic group that is focused on being supportive, faith focused and enjoy having fellowship and providing spiritual guidance.
